spacers for my C2S

ah, aesthetics are going to be wildly subjective. for example that picture looks just fine to me.
do whatever looks best to you. there are numerous pictures of various offsets and how they look on the widebody 991s, usually in threads about wheel offsets or fitting narrow body wheels on widebody cars.

Also, keep in mind .1 and .2 cars have different offsets, so make sure the recommendations you’re finding match your car. Personally, I’ve never understood why people add spacers and intentionally mess up their scrub radius. Granted, I think for most people just driving around town they will never notice the change in geometry, as it really only becomes apparent when driving the car hard.

Fixed that for ya. I know everyone fashions themselves a professional race car driver here, but very few people are going to notice that small change in geometry. I'd be willing to bet if you did a blind test with two identical cars, aside from one having the spacers installed, 99 out of 100 people wouldn't notice a thing in driving dynamics. Hell, I'd honestly be impressed if more than 50% of them even recognized the aesthetic visual difference.

I’m considering spacers for aesthetics as well. Here’s a thread with good info in it:

Also, 5mm spacers is an option from factory so it can’t screw up the geometry that bad. Just don’t go crazy

To be honest, I'm not a good enough driver to notice any change in the handling. It still handles pretty good. I did not get an alignment and balance. I added the spacers mainly for the appearance. You will be happy you did it.

I’ve tried several different permutations including 7-12, but I’ve landed at 12mm in both the front and rear. This feels the most flush in my experience. I went with the ECS kits.
Tip: your tire size will make a difference. If you have 305s in the rear the 12mm should be pretty flush. When I had 295s, I had 15mm spacers.
Here’s a pic of mine with 12s and Techart springs and Pilot Sport 4s tires with 305s in the rear.
