Default Agate Gray 991.2 - Which color wheels?!

So I'm looking to purchase a set of wheels from BC Forged for my '17 911 but I'm having a hell of a time deciding what color wheels I should get, so I'm asking the forum for some help (hopefully with pictures!)

I have red accents on the car now (red brake calipers, guards red stitching on the seats and guards red seatbelts) with the satin black 20" Carrera wheels. I was thinking about going black for the BC forged wheels, but I feel like the wheels will get lost.

Thoughts?

My agate GTS came standard with black rims but I personally think it would look better with silver or satin platinum rims. To my eye, the agate with silver rims has the most pop.

Buy OP’s black. I think any black looks perfect on chalk. Good contrast.

Anything but black. It's just so over played at this point. A lot of the wheel manufacturers have a gallery on their website that's really helpful. Take a look and see what you're most drawn to on gray cars.

I have the same color car and will be looking for silver rims. I think they pop with the Agate.. Black just gets lost and you cant see rim details.

Here’s my agate grey with matching spokes on the wheels. OEM in 2018. Agree that black wheels are overdone and that you lose all detail. You need some contrast. Good luck.

My 2018 Agate GTS also came with black wheels and I agree they get "lost" in the wheel wells on this color. Here are a few photos of my Fuchs style wheels with silver spokes and agate painted hubs to give you idea of mixing those colors with an agate exterior.

Here's my OEM wheels in Platinum Satin from the factory. If I were to get new wheels, I wouldn't rule out black, but I think I would lean towards a bronze wheel. I had never been a fan of that color wheel before, but I've seen some nice bronze setups and I think it would go well with Agate.

I really like this contrast on Agate Grey. This car is a great example and where I'm headed with my Agate Grey TTS: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-turb...ew-wheels.html

Why not just get your current rims powder coated in the color of your choice?
Its a pain to have your car up in the air while you wait but you know the quality of what you currently have.
I have an Agate grey ‘19 Targa GTS and dislike the black wheels. Will eventually have them color changed of do the 5 lug conversion to get rid of the center locks.
