I can confirm Litchfield tune reduces pops and crackles in Sport mode by 90%.

I had my COBB Protuner fully customise mine, bringing them in much later and only when being much more aggressive on the throttle. So i can drive around in sports and it passes the wife test. It’s only obnoxious when you’re feeling obnoxious. Its much nicer when cruising not having it carry on. But I think i would eventually miss it, if it were totally gone. Sometimes you feel the need to bang pop and shout. 🤣.

I have FVD 93 octane and it has minimal exhaust pops/bangs in sport mode - almost not detectable in normal mode.

I, too, have a FVD tune on my stock 2017 C2S with PDK and Sport Chrono and PSE. They all but eliminated the pops and crackles in Sport Mode as I requested, and de-activated the auto stop/start function that is the OEM default mode upon starting the car and in Normal Mode.

Just seems like the right time to point out how much effort and money people throw at their Subaru WRX to get them to pop and gurgle. And when they succeed it doesn't sound anything as good as a Porsche.
