Default Keebins Agate build

I figured i would just start a new build thread, I’ve owned my 911 since early May and its been a really fun car i initially i did the exhaust Sharkwerks cat back and Soul high flow cats). I caught the mod bug bad… and figured i would take the time to really learn this car’s ins and outs. i ordered Elephant racing front lower control arms, caster arms and Rennline tie rod ends for the front along with rear lower control arms for camber adjustment. I paired this with JRZ rs 2 ways i also installed Tarret cup brake stud kit with KW Pasm deletes. I have zero knowledge when it comes to 911’s but i have done a lot to my previous (F80) m3 thinking this couldn’t be any harder. I found the 991 to be really easy to work on wether it be oil changes or swapping most of the suspension. Here’s some picks i took along the way the last few things i need are wheels and Magnetic stone guards if anyone has a leads on a set of Magnetic stone guards please let me know lol!

Lmao my wife was sad at this point because I’ve taken my new car and just decided i was going to “make it better”

The ice

I did run the Elephant racing has kit for a little bit but i just did not like how high the car sat with these. So technically I’ve installed struts/coils 3 times on this car lol

i stripped out my carrier and i had to retap again. These will save your life if you are doing brake jobs on your own.

On my way to Rennworks in Monterey

How many miles on the elephant racing stuff? How’s it holding up? Please update in the future once you’ve had it more long term; I’m curious about the long term durability for a street car that sees potholes/etc..

I’m kinda terrified of potholes after seeing the struts shoot through the shock towers of gt cars. Only time will tell. This car will see the track in October and many more track days i do street drive it. I’ll report back in after 2k miles. Also i wont be running these 20 inch rubber band tires going to 19’s .

How do you pass CARB emissions testing with the exhaust mods?

Once your headers get some wear, most emissions shops think t he high flow catted headers are OEM. I have a 2013 and they only OBD check, and 200CEL cats pass all readiness. They don't care about catback.

Also your car is so low, they may skip the underbelly visual LOL mine does.

My guy here in Pasadena did the OBD scan and then asked to see the engine, so I popped the engine cover and he just shook his head lol. He didn’t bother looking for the cats. I’m sure as long as the car scans fine you’re good, but I heard they will start checking if the car has a tune.

Swapped to set of Apex wheels in 19’s along with some Falken rt660 100w tires, 265 35 19s in the front and 315 30 19 in the rear. Swapped to endless MS35 pads along with endless MX72 pads in the rear along with Motul rb660. I also added a jb4 piggy back and i honestly can’t tell you how awesome it is. Car makes extremely good power with a mild tune. Gets rid of that flat power band at the top. Not even the same car. I wound up getting to the last track day at Leguna Seca. Got a 1:43 that day but so much traffic out there. I’ve never tracked a 911 so i did know what to expect but i think i can get a 1:41 on my next track day. Imo i have lost all GT car lust, my 911S is so special to me and i just don’t plan on replacing it with anything. I love the way this car sounds and handles.
