I replaced my automatic spoiler with an Aero Cup fixed wing and I have a sensor error at 75 miles an hour. I am getting conflicting information from suppliers on what kind of unit that shuts off the sensor, so does anyone have experience on what I need to stop the warning?

If I remember correctly....991.1 can have this coded out.

I was told you needed a bypass harness. Frustrating.

I think the bypass harness is for 991.2 models only.

There is a way to use PIWIS to change the speed at which the spoiler engages to something ridiculously high (150+mph) which will keep the error from ever tripping (unless you're trying to get arrested).

What I don't know for sure is if you need to do it in developer mode, which is in German only. It's been mentioned in more detail in other threads on the ducktail install, start searching there.

you can get the spoiler reprogrammed for the fixed wing/ducktail on 991.1
