991.2 Parking sensor issues ? Too sensitive ?
So I park my car in the garage and the sensors are always going off when driving in and backing out of the garage no big deal.
One day I wash the car and go for a spin, the front right sensor is flashing on the screen alerting me as I'm driving down the road with nothing but an all clear road in front of me and it goes off at speeds above 10-15mph, I pull over and wipe off the sensor even though it's clean a proceed.
At every stop light it goes off again while stopped I get home and while parked it continually goes off and on every few seconds.
Are these a PITA to replace ? I have to remove the front bumper to replace a $30 part ?
I did a quick search but can't find replacement video's

Mine is overly sensitive at times as well and I just hit the parking sensor power button near the homelink buttons to turn off the sensors. I don't really even use the parking sensors since our cars have a back up camera.

Like you my parking sensors can detect the dead which can be scary!!!! Nothing around you? Not so fast!!! BEEEEEEEPPPP!!!!! Sitting at a stop light with cars around you and no one is moving? BEEEEEPPPPP!!!!! Jesus must be looking out for my T! Yea!!! Or ugh depending on my mood.....
My solution is to just turn off the sensors either after I'm done parking or done pulling out of my garage. It's the little button next to the garage door opener. I thought it was weird when I took delivery that my SA pointed out this button but I'm so glad he did as I use it pretty much every day. Maybe someone else has a better solution but this is all I have so far.....

My front right 14 C2 sensor goes off constantly. It's so annoying. First happened after I had a wrap removed from the car. I'm covinced the wrap installer did something wrong during re-assembly. Had Porsche 'fix' it, they charged me 127 and it came back on 10 mins after I left the dealership.
Will pay an indy to remove the bumper and see what's going on. I can't rely on that side any more when parking.

Mine (991.2) have always been sensitive - but no different than my previous 991.1’s as well. I have gotten used to pressing the button to turn it off as needed.
They work really well for parking, though.

The only false readings I get on mine are from super heavy snowflakes and vehicles with just the right PDC systems that cause interference. Seems to be on pickups more than anything else. Obviously only at stop lights and at low speeds.
It's just one of the downsides of PDC that you learn to live with. As mentioned above you can turn the whole system off.
OP, sounds like you have a faulty sensor. Typically these are installed from the backside of the bumper, so bumper removal tends to be required. Make sure your replacement, if you order it, is painted to match your exterior colour.
For offset tow hook license plate mounting there's a little sticker you put over the blocked sensor that causes it to disable itself. You could look into this solution too and just run without that one sensor.
