I take exception to being called random.

You know I think there's a company in Germany. that makes an alternate grill that looks great. I'll try to look them up.

I like the big grill on the new 4 Series... I think it lends a 'commanding presence'... but then.... I liked the Bangle butt a couple decades ago.

The big grille is growing on me. Haha.
i ordered basically the same car as in this short video. Dark green exterior with a light tan interior. Would look much nicer on a 911 (maybe not 992) for sure than this chunky car.

I recently ordered a base Boxster MT with all the options I need for $73.2K MSRP and no ADM. Car is now at VS200 with scheduled November delivery. Situations vary between dealerships.

73.2k for a base Boxster gets one a very-lightly optioned car. If it works for you, that's great. I tried that back in 2013 with a manual 981 BS for 66k and it didn't work for me. 73k gets me a very nicely optioned 440i convertible with an inline six engine. It is no sports car but for my kind of driving, it works for me. Even the Z4 roadster with the inline six nicely-equipped is about 73k. I used to own for 8 years before my Boxster. Porsches are expensive and I am opting out of paying the Porsche tax to own one. The Boxster I built with the PDK was actually more like 90k but I deleted SC and PTV and still came to 87k.

Since I started driving sports cars in the early 1960s when even roll-up windows were considered unnecessary, lightly-optioned is relative. I owned a 2017 MT C2S with only a sunroof as an option. Worked fine for me for more than three years.

Whatever works for you. I drove a used manual NB Miata with a plastic rear window and no AC for five years when I was younger. With mold growing in the rear shelf carpeting. That was when I was in my late 30s.
Also drove a Duster with a hole in the floorboard when I was in graduate school.
Don't want to do these things again. I like creature comforts even in sports cars.

I have to add an extra 20k but that the 911 sold for a pretty penny. I was going to order a 718 Boxster but no allocations to be had and the 440i was cheaper with that sweet inline six. The 911 was a great car and I was lucky it enjoy it for the cost of maintenance, tires and insurance. Maybe I will re-visit the brand once I get bored with the BMW.
curious where did you sell it? considering selling my T

Every beaver in town will be trying to mate with it. But I plan to keep it in FL and expect that the gators will take care of beavers so amorously-inclined. Seriously, I hated the grille when I saw it in pictures but it looks much nicer in person and it suits the convertible with the top down. I would love a new Porsche sports car but frankly out of my price range now (what I'm willing to pay).. Loaded base Boxster PDK at 90k and a cruiser 911 Targa PDK (gorgeous car) is more than 160k with impossibly long wait times.

Sold it through Acton Auto Boutique in MA. They were recommended by a family member who knows the people there. Highly recommend those guys if you want good value for the car. They would love to sell your car I bet.
