Not my photos, not my car, found on FB. This is just too much, I'm sorry.

That lettering on the back is terrible. Guy must have been drunk when he put the 9 on.

The pipe welded to the turbo is appalling. This is how you straight-pipe a 991.2:

It looks like someone closed their eyes when they were welding!
That's hard to look at.

The car should be confiscated from him and he should not be allowed 6ft near any Porsche!

Any complaints on how this sounds? Much resonance in the cabin? I run a sharkwerks muffler delete and am good with the bit of drone it produces but have been considering trying the full monty with cats and headers. I'll state upfront that I don't want to jb weld a track back to my turbos, so this looks...just a bit better

I’ve got Vektor headers (equal length) too. I added the headers before the turbo-back.

Cold start is straight up violent. For the ~45 seconds of high idle after cold start the car is far, far too loud. I leave my garage door closed until the idle drops lest I wake the neighbors three blocks over.

It sounds wonderful almost all of the time; not too loud, not much drone. From 2K-3K it resonates some*, almost as if it hits the perfect harmonic for the body of the car. On spirited drives I just keep it over 3K and it’s perfect. I don’t daily the car, and would not recommend my setup to anyone who does.

Quirks: it’s louder in Normal than Sport and Sport+. I drive it in Sport+ 100% of the time as I want the rev match and slightly quieter sound.

To-dos: deactivate/disable/plug the symposer to see if that reduces resonance.

* the resonance/drone seems to be lessening over time. I’ve heard that catalytic converters change over several heat cycles, and I do wonder if that’s what’s going on. I like it better several weeks in than I did at first. In fact, I was convinced I had to go back to stock the first few times I drive it. Weeks later, I’m pretty sure I’ll stick with it; I like the sound, and dripping 25lbs in the tail of a 911 only helps the driving dynamics.

One look at the emblems tells you everything you need to know. This owner should not be allowed to own a Porsche.

The 9 is actually on correctly, it is supposed to be angled. The ones are totally messed up and are too vertical

GTS label on a base 911.2... poor 991.2 Base, still not a cheaper car to be doing that crap too at around 85K+
