Default 991.2 Strut Tower brace options?

I just saw this Strut tower brace in a pic about the M/C brace.

I was wondering if anyone has tried a STB on a 991.2?

Who else offers them?

There is also a cheaper overseas brand I found. Not as fancy as the CNC aluminum one though. They make subframe braces too.

Thanks. I’ll look into the under body one as well. I’m a little different to most. I want better versions, not cheaper versions.

Would that really help performance on our cars?

I pull 1.6 G’s on the track. That has to cause a bucket load of flex on the towers.

Might also help prevent the time honoured 991/981 strut tower failure…

Aware of the 981 GT4 Failure, not aware of ANY 991's experiencing this failure

I've seen pictures of it on 991s. Same part on 981, 991, 982 in every model except for RSR and maybe .2 GT3R. Seems to happen most frequently to 981 GT4, but that's just going off of anecdotal Rennlist accounts.

A brace isn't really going to minimize the possibility of the cast aluminum cracking. This has been discussed at length somewhere - 981 GT4 forum I think.

Porsche still leaves plenty of room to improve on the GT3RS, they are still street cars.

Cup Car and GT4 Clubsport have strut tower reinforcement plates.

I think the fixed braces like on the cup car and the cheaper one posted above would perform better than the ones that pivot. I had the strut reinforcement plates on my gt4 and they definitely added piece of mind-they should fit the 991 also but I don't think most will need them with the exception of the OP and a few others that track extensively. OP you can probably have a fab shop build a triangulated brace that is sturdier than most you can buy.
