Too bad he didn't expire on the side of the road

Lowlifes who race on street among other cars ( full of innocent families going about their day) deserve a lot worse than what he got.

No real enthusiast or someone who is serious about motor racing or this hobby would have any sympathy for scum like that

might sound harsh. but put your son/daughter in your daily driver and have your car rammed by some scum trying to race on streets, and then report back on how you feel

Anyone who feels that are the next Michael Schumacher, grow a pair (and make some real money) and take it to the track. Judge yourself among those who know what they are doing , and not among minivans and SUVs. It will be clear in 30 minutes where your so called skill level lies. Zipping from A to B on public roads and getting your jollies are for teenagers.

That car started to over rotate very early in the video. Flick with a bit of overcorrection........ boom.

Agree with everything you said, but what makes you think the driver was not a teenager? Maybe not age-wise, but mental-wise.

Just last week i'm driving IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC and i see a car in my rearview mirror zig zagging in and out of lanes. Kid in a fairly recent M3 finally makes it next to me at a stop light. I'm guessing they have launch control because i hear this thing bouncing off the rev limiter. I'm shaking my head as the light turns green, tires chirp and i see this jagoff (yes, i spent time in Pittsburgh) slam on his brakes maybe 50 yards ahead as we are IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. Mommy and daddy can buy you a nice car but they can't by you common sense. I'm sure he spent the evening telling all his friends how he smoked a 911.

Dumba$$...

yep....i see this kind of stupidity regularly. usually it's Japanese cars with coffee can exhaust canisters and the occasional BMW/Audi. seldom see P cars taking part. looks like he was racing the white civic R that pulled into the shot late. really?? it's somewhat laughable until you think about the possible consequences/lives taken and/or destroyed.

did some street drag racing as a kid (Dodge Coronet/440) but it was *always* way out in the sticks with no other none involved people around. not smart but certainly not insane like this stuff.

I am happy he wrecked his car but more importantly that no one got hurt. He does not deserve driving a P car. Everything stupid has its consequences.

That’s considered rush hour traffic?

Yeah, if you are going to drive like that, you better have had lots of track time, autocross, and professional instruction. The best way to learn how to regain control of your 911 is to do the 2-3 hour course at Atlanta Porsche Experience Center, and spend time on the skid pad, and trictionless circle. . . While driving the 911 can be very fun, it's best to have fun when there's no traffic around.

Funniest part of the article: "Witnesses told investigators they believe the a person driving the Porsche was racing a white sedan before the crash."

I tell to my son: "When you agree to street race you have agreed to lose somehow or another... Manhood is not measured that way" The risks and consequences are endless.

Abandoned the car...registered in Ohio. Sounds like maybe it was stolen and taken for a joyride without understanding rear-engine dynamics. Maybe.
