Default Please tell me there is a good option for an exhaust tip that doesn't cost $600...

I recently purchased a 2013 C2 and am completely in love! However, the oval tips on my base non-pse exhaust give me too much of a mini-van vibe.
I removed the tips while installing the Sharkwerks center muffler delete and I just can't bring myself to put them back on. I see a lot of attractive tip options out there, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to spend $600+.
The Soul tips for the 997.2 Turbo are right up my alley with the flat finish, single wall, and single pipe design. Is there anything similar that would fit a 991.1 3.4 and not break the bank? Appreciate any thoughts and ideas!

Send them out for ceramic powder coating. For example. Welcome to Rennlist. Congrats on the new car.

Thanks for the suggestions, gentlemen!
How bad do you guys think a generic tip like this one would look on the car once ceramic coated? Would the alignment with the bumper opening make it look cheap? Someone tell me if I'm committing blasphemy here

For oval to quad conversions there are cheap aftermarket tips on ebay, aliexpress etc. It's the quad tip/pse to nicer quad tip where you need to pay.

I think I only paid like 90 bucks total maybe 100 for my OEM 991.1 S tips to be coated. So I am not sure that its really worth buying another set. Just send your OEM ones off.

I too had my tips ceramic coated at bonehead and could not be happier with the outcome. They actually came out better than I expected making me ecstatic I didn’t pay 800 bucks for aftermarket.

Bonehead did a header for me last year for my MGB. I think it wasn't much over $100.

I dislike the look of the oval tip as well. Finding used quad tips might be a good option, but I'm not sure how often those come up for sale. In this thread, there's some pictures of tips, similar to the ones desmotesta posted in post #6, not exactly the same though as it is on a .2 with PSE; this is similar to the option that I went with. I chose this after seeing it on @Tier1Terrier car in this video:

Though these are single tips, I'm quite sure you would be able to find dual tip options too.

While we don't have single wall options, we do have some scratch and dent double wall carbon fiber tips available.

Guys, he doesn't need ceramic coating. He's trying to ditch the oval tips on his base Carrera and move to a double round tip like the one that comes on the S.

Don't go for that single round tip. It will not look right at all.

Years ago I got a great set of dual chrome tips for my 997 from Vertex Auto. Not sure if they sell a 991 version.

I agree with this, unless the bumper is changed or modified, then you could go for the Sport Classic look; but that would cost even more than buying the OEM quad tips.
