For those balking at the price, OP is paying between 20 and 40 dollars per month for managed on-site storage after you factor the 1-2 hours of dealership labor per year to do the wheel swaps. A 5x5 climate controlled unit near me is $15/mo, but I'd have to deal with shuttling wheels around.

Each to their own. I swap my own tires. I enjoy doing it. Gives me a chance to clean the calipers and inside the bits you can’t otherwise get to. My rims also get the luxury spa treatment before going back on and a coating of Rejex and that makes them much easier to maintain through the season. I also don’t have to worry about how they are being mounted, stored or torqued. My garage currently has 2 x summer sets that I will need to swap over soon on the cars. $700? What a rip off.

On the flip side I take my car to the dealer for an oil change, which some of you will find equally ridiculous.

Do you, as they say

Live in a high-rise condo. No option for self swap tires.

Update:

Well, despite asking not to have my 5w50 changed, they changed my oil, the 0w40. So much for getting another Blackstone report. Ugh

Tire Rack is the supplier of tires to Porsche dealers. My dealer will discount price from Tire Rack rates. However, the dealer doesn't offer TR's road hazard insurance.

I called the 3 nearest Porsche dealers to get a quote on a new battery installed. The results were $680, $880, $1167 out the door.

I think I have to set up a home (garage) business. I will even supply espresso.

Tire Rack has a mobile service called ASAP Tire. I schedule online and they show up at my house and do the summer/winter wheel swap. It runs $50 per visit and I tip the guy $20. If you have space to store your seasonal set this is very convenient.
