The stock clutch can handle up to almost 600… good choice with the higher capacity.

I bought the standard Aasco One that works with the OEM style pressure plate and flywheel.

They have a sport version that works with the 996 pressure plate as well, but I didnt didn't see a huge advantage for the $1,000 delta.

Have you considered installing a mechanical LSD while you’re in there? Even swapping to a GT3 unit has notable effect.

opening up a transmission and installing new flywheel and clutch are a tad different. I wouldn't call it while you're in there....
but it does sound interesting 🤔 😏 👀
What kits would fit? Do you know? I have 991.1 C2

Wait there is a mechanical LSD for these cars?! Please show me where.. I thought the aftermarket diffs were only for the PDK..
My Clutch will be end of the year and a REAL LSD would be nice.

Well there is at least the GT3 one, which is what is also used in the Carrera T. I’m not sure about aftermarket, but surely someone makes something. Right?

not sure the difference or even compatibility of the gt3 mechanical diff on standard Carrera. But I do know Manual 991’s have a mechanical diff and the pdk has a “smart” diff to better integrate with the auto trans
