I have a 2018 991.2 C42. The car has 12K miles as of March, 2021. It's CPO warrantied. I was quoted $3.300 for the 4-year/40K mile service. I replace the cabin filter and the pre-cabin filter myself. Service includes new spark plugs, replace brake fluid, engine intake air filter, oil change and an inspection. Sure seems like a lot !! I'm in N. California. Anyone have similar costs quoted?
That is a lot. In Vancouver Canada here, initial quote was $2500+tax. I told them I’d bring my own stuff (oil/spark plug/air filter, etc…). Didn’t end up doing it though, as I sold the car.🤣 Ended up buying a low mileage 2017 4S. Tech said that spark plugs won’t need changing for a while though (car has 7k kms, ~4400miles and CPO ends in May).

I am in SoCal, and confess to being a little wordy this early AM (5:00), so bear with me: The previous owner of my car, paid over $4,000 to Porsche of Irvine for the 4 Year service on my car, fortunately 4 months before I got the car last December, 2021. The good news? You won't have to do this sort of service again for quite some time, and note, you are drivng one of the best cars on the planet, with one exception, mine.Below is my 2017 991.2 Agate Gray GTS the day we first met. Discovered her in an ad at 9:00 AM (She was 10 miles away), first saw her at 10:00 AM, drove her home that afternoon. Good god these are incredible cars....$3,300 is chump change to keep your Baby happy. I can't pry the grin off my face evry time I drive her....you know that feeling! Just think of how many people would love to have your car and gladly pony up the $3,300. You win, they lose! BTW, when I lived further north, with a Cayman GTS, I received great service from Porsche of Burlingame. I worked with Gary Brieno. On very short notice they arranged a PPI for me...they had been servicing the car for the previous owner.

Sorry but thats bs.
3300 is robbery for that service.
Find a good indy, they will likely save you $1,500 or more. Chump change to some i guess

Agreed. I just took my 2019 C2S to Porsche West Palm Beach (Braman) for its 2 year/20k service. $1100 for basically an oil change, cabin filters, and windshield wipers., They charged $14 to fill the windshield wiper fluid, which was basically full., The original reason that I even took her there was for the Car Connect recall that they scheduled me for, knowing that they didn’t have the replacement part. All just to get me in so they could charge the service. I will never take my car back there for anything other than warranty work. A good indy will only charge you $1000-$1500 (at least down here in So. Fla.) for the 4 yr/40k service, especially if you bring your own parts.
You could buy a good set of tools, a set of quick jacks, and all your parts and still have money for some steaks if you DIY.
But if you can't turn a wrench or in a situation where you can't work on your car........ it is what it is and it's not going to get any cheaper in the near future,

I took my 2018 Carrera T 991.2 with 13,400 miles for it’s 4 year service a couple of weeks back. $1,990 for six new spark plugs, fresh oil, and engine intake filter. Last summer I did my own brake flush (i have AP Racing BBK), so I told them to leave the brakes alone. The work to completely disassemble the back of the car took most of a 8-9 hour work day (after they allowed the car to cool off.)
What city are you in? I'm near San Francisco. I'm expecting the final cost to be $2.9-$3.0K. This includes deducts for replace the two cabin filters myself, and asking them to hold the $80 wipers.
Spark plugs, brake fluid replace, engine air cleaner, oil change, cabin filters, wiper blades, other fluids top off, vehicle inspection. I'm expecting final cost to be at $3K near San Francisco. Seems like a rip off, but partially required to keep CPO.
That's pretty high even for dealers which around here charge around $2500 for the same service (which is still grossly high). I paid my dealer almost $1000 to do my spark plugs but I did all the rest myself (with the help of this forum)/
If we use an indy, will the records be uploaded to Porsche? I have a few years left on CPO.
Porsche records will not be updated by an indy. My indy does upload any services completed to Carfax so there will be a record there if your indy does the same. Also keep all records in case you ever sell to prove services completed.
