Nearing time for Musicar Tweeter install, hints?
A couple months ago Musicar offered to forum members a limited production run of their tweeters available for purchase. I took advantage and put the required 50% down knowing mid winter arrival date. I assume deliveries are soon to start and installations quickly following. I have seen Youtube videos and they are very helpful but thought I reach out the forum experiences and any "gotchas" that I need to be aware of such as broken clip potentials, "l can't reach stuff" as easily as on videos, left vs right tweeter complications etc. So any fresh hints and advice in addition to previous posts would be greatly appreciated. And of course comments on sound improvements always good to read about. Thanks

The video Nick posted in the long runner Group Buy thread is excellent. Watch part of the video, do a step, watch more video do another step. Little by little. My only challenge was the speaker plug is very tight and really requires a lot of effort to pull apart.

Thanks. I'm experienced in taking things apart. Fitting things back together without creating new words and phrases has been my nemesis. Although I have to admit my wife is entertained at times with what she hears coming out of the garage.

The video of removing trim, wrapping towel around it, ….is very good. I would place some MF towels around the grille to protect the dash since fiddling with the wiring could take a while and you don’t want to scratch the dash.
Towel in the holes are a great idea as well.
Removal of the front clip is very easy. Some have opted to not reinstall to allow easier access if needed.
Post a vid of your install. Many will appreciate it and reference it.
