Default 991.2 plenum - at what point is it needed?

Hi all - car currently running ~530bhp at the crank on base turbos.

4 year service coming up so feels like a good time to throw some bits on, so far I have the following ready to be fitted:

Tial intakes
Tial intercoolers
BMC filter
evoms diverter valves

Will I benefit from the plenum? Long term my goals are turbo swap to move the power to the right, my perfect car would be adding boost with RPM and making max power at the red line McLaren style - at what power level will a Plenum help / is needed?

Tial elbows are on the list too but not in stock.

Hi Nathan, it was my very first mod. The car wasn’t even a month old. I wanted something hidden. 🤣

There is always low hanging fruit to be had. If some other mod has already grabbed the low hanging fruit, then the later mods don’t seem to feel like they do as much.

But at the end of the day, an engine is an air pump. More air in, more air out . The more efficiently and effectively you can do that, the more smiles it will generate.

I would say its the perfect time, as you have all the TiAL fruit now.

The M800’s actually make the car easier to drive. Power climbs constantly and it just keeps pulling all the way to redline. Before it was a massive rush and then a big drop off.

You will love them. PS The TiAL turbo inlets are designed for the M800 to mate full size. So they are the biggest.

When using them with M660 or stock turbo, they come with a reducer/Coupler. Fun fact.

Looks like the Tial inlet elbows might be in stock here:

Thanks. Not forgotten our other conversation either, my guys are doing some hybrid power control on MoTeC M1 at the moment and I have to get that project and one other out the door before I can do anything for me!

Thanks, I have bought the other bits via the UK importer as Tial put me on to them, interesting that everyone else seems to have more stock!

Dude! If you convince them to do it for the 3.0 TT you will forever achieve Legend status in my book.

Full control
Unlimited tuning

rolling anti-lag
Flex fuel
Motor sport traction control
and can add Motorsport ABS in future.

I’ll be first in line behind you.
