its not impossible. Main dash would be tough, rest can be done more easily, just need directions and service manual

There is a seller on eBay from Latvia, he sells entire interiors

Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it.

This. Better yet, order one the exact way you want it. You will have little to no recourse if what you get from Latvia looks like it came from a flea market.

I've bought leather parts from that seller in Latvia and the products are impecable and the service is first class. Got the full extended leather bits and pieces (leather speaker grills, defroster vents, door sills, etc) for my Carrera T and couldn't be happier.

I too have bought from Lev in Latvia and I could not give him as much praise as he deserves. Factory quality. Fast shipping. I am happy I found him. He does sell salvage interiors and parts, but also rebuilds standard parts into their cxx relatives.

This is just to have a 'fun' conversation here, right? Would anybody actually do this?

I change my point then. I am not familiar with them but if you and others have had a positive experience then it’s worth a shot. Thanks for the correction.

@donalexinder24
if it’s “Heavy Smash” from Latvia, they have 100% positive feedback with over 4,000 actual ratings on eBay.

I may consider. There is a GT2-RS I have my eye on. Its GT Silver outside and axe murderer Red interior.

I hate the Red interior. Black or grey is fine. Way too much RED.

Wouldn't that kind of mod really kill resale on a GT2?

@4 Point 0
There are very specific parts of the 991 GT2RS that are done in red—I hate it, too. So, a knowledgeable 991 buyer might know. You could keep the original parts if resale was a concern. I don’t know how much it would matter for a a driver/track car vs a “collector” car.

Most of the interior pieces in red on the 991 GT2RS in red are quick/easy to swap out. The A-pillars come right off and the door panels are about 10 minutes per side to remove.

Very easy. I just bought a GTS and plugged the VIN into a web site that spit out every single option and sticker price of the car. That can be done at the dealer and I believe it can get very specific. If the build sheet showed red interior and its black a buyer could then wonder what else was changed, raise questions and etc. In 30 years for example people love the idea of unmolested, stock, original car and pay handsomely for that.
