Default 991 C4S Noise in the engine area. Help me please

Hi all,

I’ve been reading almost all of the threads here about noises (rattling, clunking, knocking, etc.) but I couldn’t find the answer to what I am experiencing.

I just received my 991.2 carrera 4S 2016 ( with no sunroof , with pdcc, also pccb break if this information helps ).

Ok…The first noise (driving me nuts), I’m hearing now, is kinda like the noise when your stomach is full with water and shaking OR descriping it as something loose inside the rear trunk when go over a speedbump or uneven surface of the road. This noise happens at all time(kook kook kook sound). First I thought it was related to the rear suspension, so I went to one porsche specialised garage. They found these pieces need to be replaced. (sorry for my bad English) Other than that he said they are in a good condition. However, after replaced these 2 things, the noise still persists.

Rubber bush (I guess in english)

Shock absorber(?)

It bugs me to no end to find the course of this noise. Thus, I (myself) come to the conclusion that it may have nothing to do with rear suspension instead something to do with engine bay part(?). Since the previous owner had an IPD plenum installed. Is it possible that the guy, who installed it, didn’t secure something in the back properly?

The second noise…this noise happens periodically. I couldn’t replicate it. It sounds like one “thud” from the rear side when my wheel moves from a stop (in a car park or in a traffic) . It can happen in both directions when the car goes forward and backward. Can it be a noise from PCCB or suspension related?

P.S. I’m new here, and sorry in advance for my bad explaination.

-Jay
