Perhaps someone can offer a solution - when I use Android Auto (Joyeauto, PCM 3.1), phone calls are much quieter than the rest of audio. I fiddled with the settings inc. volume level on the phone, but can't get to the bottom of it. I have to crank the volume up for every incoming phone call, but then have a mini heart attack when I hang up and audio switches back to super loud Spotify.
Also, is the external microphone used for phone calls? I have it just above the steering wheel (exposed) and almost have to shout to be heard.

Yeah the external mic is used here. Might be worth placing it closer or something. I have similar problems with my ZZ-2 but it doesn't sound nearly as bad as this.
