Default LAX Parking

I don't live in LA, but will basing out of there for a few trips, so I'll have to leave my car at LAX. For one trip, the car will be at the airport for about 20 days. Can anyone recommend the best, most secure airport parking option?

Best, Jim

Yes but think of the feeling you get hopping into your 911 straight from the airport.

If it's still there. Full of jet soot. But, you have a point.

If you don't have a front plate, you will get a ticket. They prowl the long term lots.

The cost alone for any decent lot will make ride share, or even a taxi, the better option, even if you're coming from very far away.

Had to rub my eyes to make sure I was reading OP question correctly. After that, I had to scratch my head.

Oh man.... your best bet is to find a friend that will let you park in their garage that lives nearby. I would not leave your car at LAX for 20 days.

Thanks, guys. I sense a theme! I'll figure something out.

There's actually a fully enclosed storage place a few miles away, but it's full, sadly.

Ask a close friend to drive your car to the airport to pick you up?

I always hire a car service when going to LAX.

1. no worry about parking
2. on pickup they can pick you up at the airport as opposed to the green lot like taxi and uber
3. It costs the same if not cheaper than parking at lax. And the off site ones suck just as much.
4. I travel with wife and two kids so much easier. If I fly solo, then I Uber.

The parking spot. I like the one on sepulveda. Next to the in n out. Use valet. Excellent service and they are very careful with cars. Lots of high end cars here. You won’t be the only 911.

the central and long term lots are to be avoided.

Mostly use Uber black though. I hate the new Uber pool at lax it’s a disaster.
