This Black Book is an incredible source, and it's free. I did a price comparison f what I paid for my 2017 GTS and their estimate, within 2%, that's pretty damn close, and I feel better knowing I didn't get screwed on the deal.
Thanks to vanlieremead for providing this "missing link" in my car buying "Bag of Tricks"!

Good point, I was not aware that OP wanted a manual. The GTS in RWD was certainly more nimble and dare I say "athletic" than the TTS in terms of "tossability". Weight difference was negligible in my case which was roughly 100lb. Both cars had FAL. GTS was more susceptible to oversteer at the limit whereas the TTS leans more to the understeer side of things.. Both cars on Cup 2 tires. This can be tuned out with an alignment on the TTS though. After extensive seat time in the base .2, .2 GTS, .1 4S, and .2 TTS.. I love them all and the GTS is the only Carrera I can see myself truly wanting. Still though, I much prefer the TTS over all of them. The .1 4S experience is unique in its own and the AWD experience was still amazing. In the TTS, if you drive aggressively it will still behave like a RWD and you can easily swing the *** out on a drift or powerslide.

My point was that the price for the GTS is kind of a rip off regardless of the market. He will get clobbered on resale... Different times, different market, but I bought my 991.2 GTS brand new for 11% off MSRP. MSRP was 151K, sale price was roughly 132k-133k.

I bought my 2018 TTS last year with 12k miles on it for 172k. MSRP was 233K. Loaded with CPO... IMO buying OP's GTS at that price, he will eat a larger depreciation loss than a TTS for 40-60k off MSRP.

Porsche dealers will always lowball you on a trade. Black book is overly optimistic with trade in values. I find KBB and Edmunds to be more reasonable.

Similar situation. Considering getting into a 991.2 GTS PDK. Nothing available locally at the moment, I'm in NorCal. But there are some available elsewhere in the country. Has anyone been through the experience of buying from an out of state dealer and having the car shipped?

Default May have.

A car for you. A 2018 GTS, Chalk White, 20,000 miles. Owner is trading it on a new GT3. PM me on Wed and I’ll hook you up with the dealer sales guy. He is a good guy, an Endurance Racer too.

Car is in San Diego County. It will be a CPO too.

I've bought all my cars out of state. Twice I went an picked up, and the brand new GTS I had shipped which the dealership arranged in an enclosed trailer. No issues, highly recommend. Saves a bunch of time.

Found it, unfortunately a 4 GTS, prefer RWD. They have a handful of nice cars. Thanks for the heads up.

I paid 172k for an 18 TTS CPO 1 year ago to this day almost. 232k MSRP. That's a rip off.

Yeah something is off about that price. It's 27k over MSRP! Maybe they haven't updated their prices since the great chip shortage of 2021.
