This is one of the options I never understood.... no one else does center locks aka competitors. What is the advantage of this on a street car?

Not sure there are any advantages on the street, except for looks and snob appeal.

Torque multipliers are great for removing, just don't use them for putting them on as you can easily over-torque your wheels as they have a wide margin of error.
