And so it's done. No issues. Direct swap. Horn still works too with no cel reported.

Why does the lower inlet have no screws ? Are they all like that ?

 

Thanks Clubber. I like Alcantara on the seats and even the dash and doors, but not a fan on the steering wheel or shift **** and boot. I ordered a DB Carbon carbon shift **** with leather and leather boot with red stitching.

Not sure what you are referring to with "lower inlet not having screws".

 

I meant the bottom black hole in the middle didn’t have decortative screws like the the upper left and right ones. I thought they were all amatching set. All 3 with screws or no screws in any of them.

 

Oh ok. The steering wheel I purchased came with the polished aluminum center spoke trim and heating. So the heating trim was already installed. I guess this particular steering wheel had MF and the MF switches were removed for separate sale. I ordered the left and right trim without MF, which have the the "decorative screws" I guess I can change the bottom trim to match, but it really doesn't bother me as it is a different shape and size from the left and right trim pieces. Or I can change the trims with the fake screws to match the bottom
