When I did my carbon interior, I went with Carbonlution, certainly cheaper than OEM or DB carbon, and finish was pretty good except for a few imperfections on the trim for the cup holders…. a little wavy. Nothing major but it does bother me some. The door trim was nice cause it’s not an actual veneer but the whole trim, though it took a little work to fit them. Downside is it took forever to get them in (like 3 mo IIRC), and again, quality was fair to good. I would say I’m happy with it cause like you, I couldn’t justify the cost just for “looks”. Figured I spend the extra money in some go fast parts. Just a thought. The Alcantara wheel I got from that bay place from the steering wheel dude from Latvia. That was perfect fit and quality and communication was good. Price was fair. Good luck with your modding!

I went with Frank at E.O. Did just about everything in our 50th Anniv. 991. Waiting on the wheel to arrive now. They do/offer amazing work.

Just make sure which CF pattern you go with, it should all match up.

All CF inside also matches all CF outside

Just heard from Sunset Porsche where I ordered the wheel from. Unfortunately 4-6 weeks out... so will just have to be patient.

Also got my quote back from Royal Steering wheel. 1-2 weeks for labor.

185 GBP for re-trim ($250)
45 GBP for return shipping ($60)
$55 USD for outgoing shipping

IMO totally reasonable for a completely custom steering wheel done in UK.

Alright we are keeping this train moving. I just scooped up @lunker325 used GT wheel and will be sending it out as soon as it arrives.

Not bad looks pretty nice, thanks for that. I have a friend that had a great experience with Royal in UK so still going to stick with them.

I'm really curious about these carbon fiber ebay trim kits. I wonder how good (true to OEM) they are from a fit and finish perspective.

Update on the projects...

1. Received used sport chrono leather steering wheel

2. Bought non sport chrono center and inserts used off RL from a GT2RS

3. Sent steering wheel to UK. They received it and said it will be done 1-2 weeks

4. Shift boot shipped from Sunset, should be here next week

5. @Bob Z. 3d printed black sport chrono clock trim, on the way

5. Got interior trim back and installed. Came out really nice. I wish vinyl wrap didn't have orange peel in it, but for $250 and it being totally removable, I am happy.

Nice work, and the SC bezel should be there soon! I just got a few more but this time they have hoods/eyebrows, which I am painting now and will post pics of them when done.

DB carbon is first rate! I have used them on my 08 GT2. I now just ordered full interior for my Carrera T. I’ll post pictures when completed

Shift boot arrived today from Sunset. Also had a chance to install the @Bob Z. 3D printed SC trim ring. I didn't realize how much I hated the silver ring until I put the black one on.

Airbag also arrived today, so just waiting on the wheel to come back from Royal. ETA is next week.
