Although you could buy aftermarket sensors on Amazon these are OEM and the seller has really knowledgeable customer service. Just putting it out there for the next guy in the same situation. It's snowing here in NJ today but in about 5 weeks+/- my summer tires will be back on.
Amen. OEM sensors for a little over a hundred bucks. SMH every time I see people spending far more for used sensors in the Marketplace.

The TPMS on my 2017 seem to have just died so this thread is timely for me! Is 4.5 years an average life for the TPMS battery?

Manufacturers will tell you 5-7 years. Having said that a lot goes into the life expectancy. Miles driven (the biggest one), frequent temp changes, years of course but at about 5 years you could see the batteries going low and failing.

incase it helps, heres a pic of my sensor on my 2016 Targa 4S, but its a 991.1

You can see the part number up top & it says 433 MHz on the bottom.

That's just a basic Huf RDE048 with a Porsche PN on it for a 991.1. You'll pay $100+ ea from the dealer, you can get the exact same sensor from Amazon for $47:

Well the tpmsbargins website lacks a few more detailed descriptions when it comes to different Porsche models.

I'll assume that these sensors will fit a 2108 911-T though listed for my yr is a Turbo: Porsche 911 Turbo (991.2) TPMS Sensor | Huf RDE018 9A790727502 433MHz | TPMS Bargains

Well if you put 9A790727502 in the Porsche dealer website, it says it's superseded by PAB-907-275, which is a Huf RDE047 which works on 991.2's. I noticed TPMS Bargains shows the RDE048 for 991.1 non-Turbo's, these are what I put on my 991.1 Turbo and they work fine.
.
From the mfr website for a 2018 911 http://www.products.intellisens.com/ :

911 T is not a Turbo. Turbo listings are for the Turbo. 2018 911 T is a Carrera variant and is a RDE047 or equivalent.

Hi,
as its almost been a year can you share your experience with these TPMS? Any issues installing, programming or the time it take to display the info on the cluster?

Amazon Amazon
65 vs 120 is a big difference.

No issues at all. Look at the manual (I don't remember what I did) and there are a couple of steps that you program through the menu on the right side of the steering wheel and dash. The shop, about 20 miles away from my house, that installed didn't tell me and I didn't think to read the manual first. They told me it would take 10 miles of driving or so at greater than 30mph (or something like that) and they would automatically sync. They didn't so I looked in the manual when I got home, did the steps, and by the time I hit the stop sign on my block they synced.
