Default SoftTronic tune users check in

After speaking with them this week Im close to switching to their tune. 1 thing I like bout my current tune is the power comes on early and is linear. There isn't this overwhelming rush of boost that makes for a violent event. Hows does SoftTronic compare

I have Softronic on my 2017 Base. It is very linear. I had the FVD tune previously on the same car and the power came on very quickly . I have had Softronic for 8 months and very happy with it.

Same as F355Bob. Base '17, manual (if that matters). I've had it for almost a year, linear and a real game changer. I can't imagine the car without it.

A tune is the best money spent on this platform. Softronic has great reviews and I have yet to hear of anyone who is disappointed with it.

I have Cobb as well and I Love it. It’s significantly more aggressive than stock but what I hear about Softronic is it’s far more linear and resembles the stock powerband with more power all around.

I run the Softronic on my 991.2 S w/PDK. Definitely more boost overall and it comes on hard once you floor it. Catches you off guard compared to how it felt stock. I'd only recommend getting Michelin Super Sport or PS4S tires to help put the power down on the street. Otherwise, take the leap and enjoy!

I’ve only had the Softronic tune for a few weeks and have probably logged about 300 miles with it but I’m absolutely thrilled with how my car performs now. The power increase is substantial, smooth across the rpm range over the 2k range and very predictable. Seems like the car should’ve come this way from the factory. I could never go back to stock now although glad I can flash it back whenever I want.

I am protuned but based off the original more aggressive OTS maps. My setup is aggressive but I like it that way.

Had the tune for about 9 months now in a 2017 GTS with Manual Trans. Car has Soul Perf sport cats. Power delivery and increase was substantial over stock, very linear. I had to take the car in for something unrelated recently and flashing back to stock was easy and as I had hoped.

Only hiccup so far with the tune was a CEL when I was rolling on the throttle in 7th gear under normal acceleration a few months back. I contacted Scott about it and had no resolution. I cleared the code and went back to stock and haven’t put the tune back on since I knew it was going in for work. Although the CEL was not resolved, I’m still planning to put the tune back on soon.

Yep exactly this - I was very pleased that it's relatively easy to revert to stock however I don't see why I ever would at this point.
