Carrera Sport Wheels

I thought the Carrera Sport wheels were forged and hence light. In any case, I didn't want to fork out $6k for a new set.
I found a wheel manufacturer based in Hong Kong on eBay via a recommendation here in the 997 forum => https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...ew-wheels.html
They make forged wheels of decent quality - in the league of Ferrada, Rohanna etc
Several members there had wheels ordered from the same company and all had positive experiences.
I had a positive experience too - the seller can customize the look of the wheels and powder coat them per your ask.
You can whatsapp the seller and track the progress - I got pictures of the bare forged wheels before powder coat
They even sent center caps to match the wheels. I went for the Carrera Sport look.
I was shocked by how light they were - very much comparable to the stock S wheels on the 991.
Coming from aftermarket cast wheels on my 997 (Starke SC19/18 fuchs knockoffs), these are waaaaaaaay lighter!

I have the Carrera wheels on my T but would like a set of the Sports they're just classic imo and should have been called "Classic Sport" or "Retro" wheels.

My ‘winter set’ …for ease of cleaning, and less concerned about a few extra pounds with my ‘winter weight’… I would still prefer the T painted titanium color (if anyone wants to swap for these).

Poll needs a third option: "Eh, they're ok."
Have them and would happily trade for the Carrera S wheels above. They're ok, and they look good painted, but I much prefer spilit 5 spokes aesthetically.
