Default SA2020 Entry Level Helmet

Hello all,

Looking to purchase an entry level SA2020 Helmet. Around 300s since I don't do much at all but would like to start with autocross and maybe a track day.

Thanks in advance to all!

Speedway Motors has many choices. Google 'em.

PM incoming - I've got Racequip SA2020 helmets available from the mid-200s if you're looking for closed face and know your size.

Highly recommend finding a local place to go try on various helmets to find out what your head shape is compatible with. It's extremely important to make sure you have proper fitment, otherwise the efficacy of the helmet is drastically reduced.

Definitely this. My head shape fits a Bell nicely, but the same size in another brand was incredibly uncomfortable.

I bought a Racequip Pro20 online, unfortunately there wasn't any place nearby that had stock that I could try on. I used the measurement recommendation from the manufacturer (I used the hat sizing) and fortunately it fit.

FWIW, I find the Racequip (in M) fit better than the old M2010 HJC CL helmet that I had (in large) because the cheek area is not as tight. The helmet is also very light weight.

Also look at Black Armor. They have a non-carbon fiber model that is nicely priced. Fits my head well.
