Really great thread. Long time lurker, not many posts. I’m in the process of upgrading my 991.2. Started with Brembo GTS-R brake upgrade and sway bars. Suspension and power mods are in the scheming phase.
had this center muffler made for my 4S. I like the quad tips. Should sound nice. Titanium and markedly lighter than the stock muffler.

Looks like I have decided on Soul headers and Soul sport cats with a softronic tune. Hopefully this will scratch my itch for a while. Nice that they are local and will most likely be doing the work.

Nice, that's exactly what I have, you will be very happy.
I don't see any issues with Emissions Readiness in PA with a 991.2 and our SOUL 200 cell Sport Cats without a tune. On their own they will pass inspection. (I can refer you to several shops as well in our area). A tune may be disabling emissions readiness through CEL suppression programming so you'd likely need to flash back to stock before your state inspection. I have had to do this on many of my cars. If you drive less than 5,000 miles a year in PA, you won't have to have emissions testing iirc. (Was the case with my 911 catless track car).
The Tune will give the biggest, single add-on gain. The Sport Cats will further increase power, spool and sound. Headers add to the flow as the OEM headers are not the most efficient design.
Most of my customers choose headers, cats and a Softronic tune and are absolutely in love with the transformation of the car. Plus, all of our parts are backed with the best customer service and warranty in the business.
