Only $2200 LOL. Just use cheap torque multiplier. I spent $150 on 1:3 torque multiplier and result is exactly same. You still need proper torque wrench to torque accurately. Do not use torque multiplier to torque your center lock. With proper equipment you can change center lock faster than 5 lug nuts with minimal effort.
Just in case, if anyone wants this beautiful (but comes with price) tool, I will sell brand new for $2,000. I bought it thinking I'll do some work myself but I keep using shops to do all my work. =)
what do you mean, " do not use torque multiplier to to torque your center lock"?????
What brand?
Due to frictional gear loss on both torque wrench and torque multiplier. From Snap-On "The reason a torque wrench should not be used at the input of a multiplier is because by doing so you will then be measuring only the amount of torque you're putting in without taking into consideration the variation in torque loss due to friction in the head of the multiplier. This torque loss can vary by as much as ten percent". To tighten center lock use proper torque wrench or use torque meter for your safety. I only use multiplier for unlock the wheel.
so you have a torque wrench that measures up to 400 some foot pounds? If so, then why not use it to remove the nuts, thus
you would have no need for the multiplier....

you should never use a Torque Wrench to remove CL lug (or any for that matter)

general consensus is you should not use a precision tool to break loose nuts and bolts, as the torque value required to break loose the bolt could be beyond the specification of the tool, thereby damaging it. real world tests have periodically proven that to be false, however. YMMV.

I use torque wrench from Precision Instrument. It can handle 600 ft pounds. Of course I can unlock the wheels with torque wrench but it's much easier with multiplier. That's why I bought cheap multiplier for just unlock. Unlock requires more effort than tighten.

The insane price aside, it just doesn’t seem right to me to put that much force against the spoke of an aluminum wheel. I’ve seen over 700 ft/lb cracking loose a tight CL.
