Default New (to me) 991.1

I recently sold my '09 Carrera S (997.2) and decided to make the move into a '13 Carrera S (991.1) . I'm sure this is a very biased group however I have to say I love this car. It's way more comfortable to drive for long periods of time and just love the aggressive strance it has.

67,000KM
GT Silver on black
PDK (much nicer then the PDK I had in the 997.2)
Sport Exhaust
Sport Chrono
Sport front bumper and Ducktail
Yellow dials
The only option the car didn't have was extended leather. No biggie in my opinion.

Here is a quick pic

Welcome to the 991.1 club. Beautiful car! What are your thoughts, thus far, on the difference in steering between the hydraulic steering in the 997 and the electric steering in the 991?

I'm very suprised that the car still offers me that involved feeling (I hope this makes sense). If it didn't I would not have made the move.

Congratulations! Spotted this beauty at Independent Tuning last week? I was in for some S4 love from Mark - still hunting a 991 to replace the Audi - damn you Covid!
Love the duck tail. Now you just need to change your User handle ;0).

I had a 997 myself before and honestly I feel just as involved as well...NOW, the steering on my '85 Targa was telepathic, but it was also my first 911, so I'll always be biased. (however it DID SUCK in parking lots). The 991 is more comfortable and more "GT" like than the 997, but that is what I love about it. Like a fighter in a well-tailored suit! Welcome to 991 ownership!

Nice! I too went from 997.2 to 991.1 - although there were a few Porsche-less years in between. It's a step up in every way.

Have fun!
