Wow, more like $12k, that's quite a commitment. Is your car a turbo? Not sure I get he point if it's an NA. For a turbo the Dodson clutch will let you go above 650 hp though the conn rods are the next weakness (up around 750 hp I think). Would sure like to know more about your build.

Can set pressure and torque limits and shift speed. Fully customisable.
The OS Giken mechanical diff has transformed my car.

With my old GTS APR TUNE STAGE 3 i have dyno the car at510whp and did 10.8@130mph consistently and no slip at all so the sweet spot is there ,after that i went cobb protune and i was trapping 137 with lots of clutch slipping even with my cobb tcu ,now my m800gts full BO are install my Dodson clutch will be install next week cant wait to see the result..
But yes Dodson is very expensif but there quality product is outstanding ,so yes with your m800gts you will have to upgrade your clutch that suck i know... so if you guys want to go more then 500-550 whp you will have to upgrade the clutch eventually..
From my experience Apr stage 3 with the gts kit is the best bang for the buck cuz they are at the sweet spot before upgrading the clutch...
So with all this money spend i was thinking why did i go with a carrera?... go with a real 991.2 turbo with a tune insted...
