Congratulations! I'm currently at 98k miles, my previous 997s I've had also went through 100k+ miles - these are long lasting, wonderful machines if you maintain them properly.

Wow and congrats. I applaud your judicious application of the gas pedal to achieve this milestone!

It would be interesting to see a list of repairs since taking delivery in 2012.

Lots of tires replaced under tire and wheel warranty; 2 wheels replaced under warranty

Fewer tires replaced after 5 year warranty expired

Regular maintenance as per book w/exception of oil change interval - no greater than 5k

Front brakes and rotors at 90k+
Rear calipers brakes and rotors replaced by dealer under warranty at 58K
Steering wheel replaced as a button jammed - under warranty

Rear spoiler failed and was replaced by dealer at no cost after warranty
Vario cam servos - one failed and I had both replaced.
Horn failed - I replaced; required a wire connector as new horn had new connection
Windshield washer tubes failed.
Engine Cover struts failed.
Frunk Struts failed.
Battery replaced after 7 years larger AGM installed

probably less than $1500 in extraordinary repairs over 9 years. - I believe that the vario cam servers should be a wear item and I believe that Porsche keeps it out to lower the estimated cost of operation
if vario cam servers removed then less than $600 extraordinary cost of repair over 9 years.

All in all a great car and I still smile every time I see it.

Totally familiar with that feeling.

Just wondering...
Why were two wheels replaced under warranty?
Any idea what happened to the rear calipers?

All nickle and dime stuff. Tires, well they wear.

Don't know much about the vario cam servos as the previous owner never used the car (98 miles) and it now sits at about 5600 miles.

So no engine (other than vario cam servos) and transmission issues?

Potholes bent the wheels...I had a $1300 5 year tire and wheel warranty

the rear calipers were, well weird. they did not squeeze the pads evenly.

none, no engine issues. runs like the most powerful sewing machine in the galaxy

These cars are made to be driven. It’s great to see one being used rather simply possessed. Well done.
