Opinions needed on this spoiler lip made by Maxton. I am on the fence.

Not a fan. Seems to me the .1 doesn't really need another horizontal design element on the deck. That extra lip is discordant with the existing three slats.

Bear in mind I have the aesthetic ability of a ham sandwich, so not sure my opinion is worth a lot.

I agree, but I have the GTS black narrow slats, which I think makes a difference as far as flowing better.

I think that lip would look better painted body color. Maybe. I dunno.

I actually like the look but the problem with Maxton is they are out like 3-6 months! I sucks as I ended up cancelling my order because they just kept pushing it out. I understand we have a "pandemic" yet but come on.......

You going for looks or performance?

From a looks perspective, very meh in my eyes. From a performance perspective, I'd want to see some measurements.

Paint matched and blended into the wing piece would look great. Tacked on, it looks silly. I think it would also need the GTS engine lid grille to look 100%.

In black it looks like a cheap stick-on aftermarket part. Agree that it would look best if painted to match. Not crazy about it though.

IMHO 911 has 3 "looks" that actually work..

- Basic 911, traditional untainted and original look
- Duck tail
- GT3/Techart spoilers

for the 992 i do like the Aeropackage spoiler that is very reminiscent of 991 GT3 spoiler.

That said, if it looks good to you, that is all that matters.
