I just pulled the trigger on the TiAL tubes and the 3DMetal turbo inlet pipes. No dramas.

All working, all responding, no issues. Love the M800-GTS by the way.

I keep bugging them. Jamie at Dundon and Jonathan at 3DMetal, but I think APR need to give permission, as they commissioned the product.

The issue is, you need to cut your car to fit. I don't care about that, but a million warranty pussies do. So APR don't believe there will be a market, so they won't take it any further.

I may ask Dundon if they are willing to develop a true gurney flap for Non-GT cars. Dundon seem overly focused on just GT cars. I don't understand why they only cater to "SLOW" cars.

Us guys with FAST cars need down force as well.

EDIT : I forwarded this post to Jamie@Dundon Motorsports. His response was that there are only 2 Guys that track their Carreras.......He said then once they get into it, they trade them in on a GT car.

I'm sure there is a lot of validity to that. But come on Rennlist, every track guy in here needs to storm the Dundon office or email and demand better mods for our Carreras.

A real working Gurney Flap or ****.

Not scientifically yet. 🤣

I was running 24psi peak and tapering off before.
The stock turbo’s wouldn’t hold full boost all the way to redline.

The M800-GTS I am running at 25PSI at present, and they effortlessly hold boost all the way through redline. In fact holding 30PSI was no problem. However, at this stage, adding more boost, did not yield any more power beyond 25PSI. Which means we have some serious flow restrictions.

This is why I have ordered the TiAL elbows and the 3D Printed inlets.

With all of that said, the car still has considerable extra volume under the power curve, especially up high and is considerably faster already.

The power feels endless. It just keeps increasing and pulling all the way through redline.

But plenty more to be had soon.

For those that think up grading the turbo’s will make it a handful, its the opposite.

Before the power hit so hard and then tapered off at the end. Now its a constant, silky smooth, seemingly endless build.

Its silly smooth and epic. I don’t know that I need anymore…..🤣. Wait, did i actually just say that out loud?

Of course. Its peak power is now at 7,400 and is 35hp more than the old peak, which was much lower in the curve, but rolled over.

35hp doesn’t tell the storey . The torque is flat, and everywhere. Power delivery just seems endless. Its a beautiful thing.

Once we sort the air flow, we will increase boost and power . Remember my car was tuned to the nth degree and possible already the fastest stock turbo car on the planet, running E40.

Oh, I am still only running E40 as well. I do have an E85 tune, which i have not tried as yet.

I won’t as we will change all of them, after the TiAL products installed.

The real answer is to yank the stock ECU out and replace with a MoTeC. Then you can say, I want this boost, and it goes and gets it.

As you know, its far more complex trying to do it with a COBB and stock ECU.

We need a Group Buy on MoTeC of at least 5 people and that will bring the cost down significantly from a one off.

Guys in Sydney want $20K AUD for a one off.

If they develop it for a market, it would be half that.
