Condition : Warm engine, normal mode.
Maintenance up to date, New plugs. New Map sensor.
Just had changed 1 cam solenoid and 1 valve lift solenoid.

Why did you change 1 cam solenoid and 1 valve lift solenoid? Error codes?

I changed due to multiple misfire. The car was no longer usable. My mechanic started by changing the side of the lift valve solenoid but nothing changed. Then he changed the cam solenoid and the misfire changed bank. So the cam solenoid was changed but the misfires continued. Than he changed the valve lift and the codes are gone! This means that these parts work together and that one can compensate for the other. Since changing the car is much better at the start but still the stumble around 2800 rpm and the idle unstable .. I wonder if changing the other two others would fix things .. Or how to test their proper functioning ??

100 - 150 rpm fluctuations like that are not normal compared to my 991.1 GTS. It should be nice and steady whether in normal mode or in Sport/Sport+.

Default Any updates

I am also having an idle stumble. I've swapped cam sensors. New 02 sensors.

My short term fuel trims are unstable. Bank 2 will drop down to 73 or so just before the stumble. Bank 1 stays basic steady.

Where you able to find your issue?

How many hours did they charge for the cam solenoid swap?

Thanks

Last update for me : changed the throttle boddy and the car has no more stumble or rough idle.
I strongly suggest that your mecanic test the respond of your TB before doing anything.
Let me know!

Cool! What was wrong with the original throttle body? Did it have some carbon fouling? What is the mileage of your car?
