Never going back to Livermore porsche again
Dropped off my car for an oil change, 2019 GTS
They want to charge me $606. WTF
This if for 8-9 quarts of oil, oil filter and maybe 1/2hr labor
Never going back there again

Dealer oil changes, in many parts of the country, already crept up to $500 +/-, but over $600 is a new record...
Enough people are willing to pay, so they are happy to charge - free marketplace
Did my oil change last weekend, after the Mobil 1 Rebate, total cost was about $50, and I actually enjoy doing this!! Not everyone's cup of tea however

fwiw, Chandler Porsche charged me ~$250 last month for the oil change.
they gave me a new taycan as a loaner for the day.
I had also asked to do the frunk lift supports and when they called to confirm the parts+labor for those at ~$300 dollars i laughed a bit at the price. i told him to go ahead but i'm gonna go do some 0-60 tests with that taycan. he said 'have at it' so i figured it was worth the trade. i was bored with the instant torque after a few hours btw. kinda felt like a video game. very glad to have the 911 back at the end of the day.

Partially agree.. the real value for me is knowing it was done right..
here is an example, dealer serviced 991 .. stripped out drain plug.. Dealer tech didn't bother to walk 30 feet to parts department and get a new $10 part
Looks like they tried to modify the drain plug instead of just getting a new one..
I had to improvise and was lucky to remove it without further damage

Jeeze, That is really scummy. First they did not tell you, and second, instead of replacing what they messed up, they tried to modify instead of replacing what they "screwed up". Really low life stuff.

The "Nation's Largest Dealer" dented my interior door panel and then threw a fit when I pointed it out to them.
Find an Indy and cut your losses.

a gas station mechanic would not know any better, but anyone experienced with these soft drain plugs, should know to never re-use one - Completely irresponsible for a dealer tech..
Here is a socket to get the striped one out:
