Default Sport Response button location on 991.1 multifunction wheel?

This may be a dumb question, but can anyone tell me how to access the Sport Response button on a 991.1 multi function wheel? My car has the Sports Chrono package and the Sports/Sports + buttons on the center console. I was just learning about the Sport Response feature yet every video shows it being used on the wheels with the dial, as opposed to the one with the built-in shifters in lieu of the paddles. Any advice would be appreciated.

For the 991.2, the Sport Chrono package puts a **** on the steering wheel with a button in the middle of it. Not sure .1 has this?

That said, all the button does is put you in Sport+ for up to 20 seconds. There is virtually no difference between pushing the button and just flipping the dial over to Sport+.

It’s only on the 991.2 cars as it spools up the turbos for max acceleration.

You can retrofit a 991.2 or similar steering wheel with the little sports ****. When you hit the button it will put it into S

portsplus for 20 seconds

Do the buttons on the center console still work? If you didn't have a 991.1 with multi function steering wheel, will the multi-function options work?

there's an aftermarket module to translate from the 991.2 MFW to the 991.1 setup you'll need to put in to gain/retain all the features. there are a few threads on it, I think if you search "steering wheel retrofit" they'll come up

If you have access to a PIWIS you can enable sport plus on the Joker (diamond) key, which would give you something similar to sport response. Instructions here- this is from the company that does the 991.2 MF retrofit kit but the instructions to enable the menu are independent of the kit, if you have an MF wheel you can turn on Sport Plus with the Joker key.
