Default Is 991 pricing ridiculous right now? Sure is!

I picked up my 2018 GTS w/ 8k on the odometer and a better spec build than this one (ceramic brakes, rear wheel steering and all wheel drive) for $126k two years ago.

Makes me wonder if I should put mine up for sale and move to the Panamera shooting break.

911 ownership (if you have one) is definitely getting cheap/free/you get paid for it. But the problem is what to replace it with? Panameras aren't quite as hot, sure. But you're not going to have the same kind of fun in a Panamera as you will in a 911. The other usual suspects (M-cars, F-Cars) are getting pretty expensive too.

Yeah, it's now to the point I'll sell my 911 if the number is right. Having said that, I'd soothe my pain and bide my time with my Boxster and Cayenne (and a stack of cash) until I decide what I buy next.

I am selling my 991.2 GTS right now as well with market pricing. Will get back in when the market cools to get a 991.2 GT3

Been considering doing the same the last few months. Instead of selling the 911, I added a used loaded Macan Turbo to potentially accelerate the decision.
