Part of the reason I have had my tuner start unlocking more access, so we can get a better tune with the new turbo’s.

Please keep us posted on your tuning solution. I’m starting my M660 build which comes with a protune from BBi for 91 from the previous owner. I have normal access to 93 and E85, so I really want to maximize the potential of these turbos with a retune - and I don’t think APR’s special sauce is going to be available any time soon… if ever.

The PDK will handle the power no problem. Its the torque limits set they may cause an issue. They will need to be overcome at some stage.

I have a COBB PDK tune. I never had it set to AGRESSIVE. That name and the way it is in Caps, does it a massive disservice. I thought it would thump you in the back, like the original M4. That sort of thing is pure rubbish . The COBB AGRESSIVE PDK tune just works. It made shift issue disappear.

What i have left is a traction control issue, that even though i have it fully off, it occasionally trys to intervene when i am putting the power down coming onto the main straight . Its the only spot it does it.

Its been very disappointing all the wild claims of APR and a year on they have delivered nothing.
No PDK tune which promised they had fixed the shift issue. No tune for M660’s.

My guy has been slowly unlocking extra tables. But it is a time consuming process. I have to run my E40 tank down to zero before i can fill it with straight E85. The. I can test his new E85 tune.

He assures me it will be noticeably different.

Lets be clear, my car is insanely fast already. But you know. You get used to things. And i have this 765LT that is strutting around, and i want to have a chop at him. 🤣

Took car in for new windscreen.

Two windscreens ago, when i fitted the GT3 front bar, i asked the dealer could they delete the front park sensor error Triangle and warning tone that they weren’t working? To cut a long storey short, all they did was delete my reverse camera and i can still here the error tone.

Then last windshield, i asked could they put my Reverse camera back. They delete my Bluetooth icon.

They told me there was no way of getting the reverse camera back unless i took the GT3 bumper off and replaced the stock one. I said that was not going to happen.

I asked them could they spell incompetent?

This windshield, they put my bluetooth back and they brought the reverse camera back. I still have the warning triangle at front of car and the tone to say, the front sensors are. Not working, but at least after two years i have a reverse camera again.

They wonder why I have a race mechanic and donMt get them to work on my car other than replace the yearly windshield.

Some story! Unfortunately, happens all the time. Today's "error code readers" and not really mechanics IMHO. They do not know how to troubleshoot, only how to get rid of codes. It's a shame.

E-Motion and RAS delete

Just a quick combo pic of some of the suspension parts.

I now have a tracking number for the TiAL M800-GTS turbo’s.

Yes, they are epic. When the car slides now, its so predictable almost casual. A slight correction and its settles instantly with no after wobble.

The only one I haven't fitted yet is the big wishbone one at the rear . They will be fitted shortly with the Tial M800-GTS turbo’s that have just arrived.

That will mean the only E-Motion bar I don’t have is the front tie rod end. I will do it later, but its a special one for our cars and turbo’s are more exciting.

I currently run N0 spec Cup2-R up front as I run the 265/35/20 from GT2-RS.

I have not been able to get stock of N0 rear, so still running 305/30/20 K1 which os Ferrari fitment. Whilst it is my stock size, Ferrari run 11 inch rear rim and we have 12 inch on GTS and GT3. So they look a little stretched even though it says 305 on sidewall, its more like a 285.

My ALP is installed in my ashtray. I have a cover, so it is hidden. I have it set on automatic, so not need to JTK, as ALP will do it automatically after 4 seconds.
