Very normal in these cars. It was no problem to grease the 1-2 shift in my GT4 and most every daily car I've had. While it's easy to grease the 2-3 upshift and each successive upshift in the 991.2 Carrera when letting the clutch out, it isn't easy on the 1-2 upshift. Have come across a small handful of examples of this over the years, where familiarity doesn't help as much as you'd expect it to. Have always wondered if it's the design of the car, or the particular parts in that car.

Separately, my first 991.2 Carrera 7MT's shifter was recalcitrant on the 1-2 shift when cold (felt like synchros), like an old Ferrari, but was just fine once it was even a little warmed up. Doesn't seem to be an issue in my second 991.2 Carrera 7MT.

Curious if this happens by default at a dealer brake flush or if you would have to request it.
I had to specifically ask for the clutch slave to be bled separate of the brake flush, and the dealer did it for me. I have a 997 though, but I’m sure they’ll be happy to do it for your 991…and charge for it.
