As good as those numbers are for the real world, I am questioning the numbers for the new VW Golf R put up by carwow.com (their YouTube channel)

.. they got stock Golf R to do a 12.3 1/4 mile albeit with DSG and launch control..

something doesn't add up

I believe the one time slip on the right where we were against a Golf R that ran a 12.0 @ 112.

I'm not sure if it was stock or not, but it was fast off the line.

Dino at Speed Circuit did the exhaust install on my 991.1 Turbo S.
Great guys at a great shop.

I do believe this is his Custom Pro-tune on his 991.2 Carrera.
I also have a 991.2 Carrera without a tune at the moment as a comparison.

I went for a ride in his car and the tune is FAST and it runs perfect.

We use the Cobb Accessport to create a custom, optimized tune for your specific car. This will require you to take logs with your Cobb AccessPort and email them to us. We will reply with an updated tune for you to install, which will require you to send more logs. Rinse and repeat until complete.

In a nutshell, this is like having a suit custom tailored to fit you rather than simply wearing it as-is off the rack.

If you purchase a Cobb AccessPort from us, we are currently including a a free custom tune with it. If you purchased your Cobb AccessPort elsewhere, you can still purchase a custom tune from us here:

https://www.speedcircuit.net/collect...-carrera-991-2

Standard and PDK versions of the Cobb unit from us are available here and here, respectively.

When purchased from you, I assume the access port comes with the standard Cobb tune? That way until you get to the tuning you have the Cobb to run? Curious as it could be a bit between Cobb install and time to pull logs etc…plus then could pop back to that if desired and for comparison…
