How did you get it? Looks real to me, if only because of the part number - they probably wouldn't bother adding one if it was a replica/fake part.

my dealership sends random gifts from time to time. its one of the porsche off-the-shelf shop items it think. i got this awhile back and just put it on my office shelf and kind of forgot about it until recently. picked up the cap and the thing is quite hefty! i think its the real deal! good to know if i ever lose a center lock i guess

Center lock is real. It's not a big deal for dealerships to do this, as customers who track their GT3/RS get new center lock bolts after about 4-6,000 miles. The dealership can clean them up, add a center shield, and a metal cup to fit. It only contains the outer portion of the nut, though, as it's missing the conical surface ring, washer, and o-ring

I don't know if I'd eat anything out of it though, as it has probably seen alot of road debris, although, no doubt, they put it through the dishwasher before sending it to you.
