It is insane but still- value is created by how difficult something is to obtain. If you just have to have a 991.1 GTS as close to new as you can get it, then your options are very limited. In that sense, the price isn't all that surprising...

Unless they want to move into a 2016 Jetta, it's just plain pointless for everyone. This phenomenon is not exclusive to 911s. Pretty much any car that would be considered exciting is fetching a substantial premium these days.

Right now, pricing is just out of this world and not something we've seen before.
Everything will come back down to earth at some point.

Even 2020 used Porsches are going for sticker, and they're used with 4-5K miles. I saw a base 2020 911 that had an MSRP of $103K with 5K miles on it. They were asking $103K.

As others have said, if you're willing to take the cash, sell now. Otherwise, drive your car and have fun.

That's a pretty cool build, not that I would ever pay that much for it.

Last of the NA cars, manual, non-sunroof, great and perhaps rare color, not a lot of options in general, but some well chosen performance focused options. Not sure I would call it a unicorn, but it could well be.
