991.2 C4S Spyder or S rims
I am purchasing a 2017 C4S. The build sheet shows Spyder RS rims. Due to these wheels being damaged the dealership put S rims on the car with the OEM tire. They look great and the seller is going to give me the Spyder wheels. I was told 1 of the rims in non repairable and the other 3 are:
1. Are these the right wheels for the car?
2. Are C4S cars coming from the factory with S wheels ?
3. The rear rims look a little tucked under the wheel well, are they correct ?
4. Do the make different S rims for the C4s compared to the S
thank you all so much

I would be asking what in the world happened to the car to render one wheel a total loss and 3 needing repair. That is the question. Car was not damaged during the 4 wheel fiasco?

1. AFAIK, I don't remember seeing specific rim design for AWD vs RWD.
2. I would say yes (like it is the standard choice) but there were different choices of wheel you could choose as an option such as the RS Spyder.
3. Don't know.
4. Not sure but the C4S being a wide body vs the C2S, the rear rims are maybe different (wider) in size?

The design of the wheels can be the same but S and 4S rims have different offsets. A narrowbody .2 S is 20x8.5 +49 Front and 20x11.5 +76 rear, where as a .2 WB is 20x8.5+49 and 20x11.5 +56, so the wheels should fit, but will appear more sunken in on a widebody car.

Bummer on the wheels.
Spyder came in 20"/21" with the rears 11.5" wide
S wheels 20" all around and only 11" wide rears.

so the s wheels they make with 2 different backs ? 1 for the S and 1 for the C4S ?? if you use the S on the c$s the offset will tuck the wheel under..... is this correct ??

The Spyder wheels are quite expensive to buy outright (new or used). Get the wheels and see if they can be refinished. If they can, just buy one new one.
If you can't get them finished, keep an eye out for used wide body wheels FS in the classified ads here.
