Update: APR pulled through with the box code and Flat 6 Motorsports came out and uploaded the tune.

First impression is 😲😲😲

Thanks Jon @Flat 6 for the excellent customer service experience. Would recommend him to anyone and also APR for the swift action.

Yes, I used a 4” pry bar and carefully popped the lines off. Then used dielectric grease on them before popping them back in.

Glad to hear they came through - I rather suspected they would. Isn't it a monster above 4,200rpm? I love my GTS-ified and tuned C2S.

Glad APR and your Tuner got you sorted!

Can you post a link to the pry bar you used. Might pick one up as GTS snails are in my near future

thanks! I read your reply and thought you were saying it was like a odd 4 prong type of pry bar cause the " didnt show up for some reason. LOL

Now that youre good to go, post some draggy results when you get a chance. 60-130 or 1/4 mile.

Glad this all came together and it was a pleasure working with you! Looking forward to seeing 1/4 mi times post-turbos.

Have you experienced any of the flutter issues people have mentioned? Are there any negatives…increased lag, etc.

I've not experienced flutter, but I have seen intermittent "stumbles" - very minor power interruptions - at around 5,700-6,500 rpm in 3rd gear only. Hard to reproduce and not very frequent. Working with APR to investigate those. Compared to the standard S, the GTS turbos have a little more lag, yes. Power below 4,200rpm is definitely stronger than stock, but then above that RPM there is a very marked increase in power. On track, you don't notice anything because you're always in the power band in a big way. On the road, if you really boot it, you'll get thrust back into your seat in a big way.

I’m PDK.

I haven’t really noticed any power hiccups but then again I’ve only gotten the chance to go WOT about 3-4 times.

Im not familiar with the flutter issue but I definitely haven't had it. I have had zero issues other than an occasional stiff 2-3 shift under full throttle, and a sore face from smiling too much. I was going to sell my car this summer while resale is so high, but the turbos and e85 are too addicting to let go.

No issues to report other than the fact that I ran 11.0 on the 1/4 mi on stock turbos and tires with an old COBB stage 2 tune and I can’t get anything better with R888’s and APR K04 turbos.

I know 888’s are not drag radials but they’re quite gummy.

I’m hoping it’s the heat and humidity that are holding me back. The butt-dyno tells me the car is faster but the track times don’t match.

How’s the mph in comparison, is it higher with the bigger turbos?
