Sport Design Steering Wheel Question
Does anyone know if the Sport Design Steering Wheel from a 2015 911 Turbo PDK will fit a 2013 991 PDK base car? I believe the wheel itself is a bit thicker and thought everything else is the same but not certain. I would appreciate any help.

I had very first launch edition 991.1 C2S with dumb push/pull button PDK steering wheel and changed to sport design PDK steering wheel and it worked fine. So as long as you have base PDK steering wheel + dash screen control **** on the steering wheel column, it'll be easy swap. I think it's must have upgrade to really enjoy the car. Go for it!

In that case, getting .2 multi-function wheel would be be better direction to take.

I got a Macan wheel and airbag off of ebay, and an adapter from gpsadapter.us. It works great, all the buttons work perfectly as intended, and the paddle shifters work! so much better than the dumb slidey buttons.

Yes! This absolutely is possible and I have a Macan multifunction wheel that I previously had in my Base 981 Cayman and moved to my new-to-me 991.1 C2S.

Here is my car! I did the swap myself, it took all of maybe 20-30 min (including getting all the tools together, disconnecting the battery, etc). I originally did the swap in my 981 a few years ago. When I went to sell my 981, I put the stock wheel back in, and just popped this guy in my new car before a recent mountain drive - the paddles were super useful compared to the silly slidey buttons.

That photo looks amazing!
My 991.1 including the steering is agate grey, is it even possible getting the steering and the air bag in that color ?!

That is amazing, looks fantastic. The link you sent for the adapter is great too. I will look on ebay for a Macan steering wheel.
The big problem for me is going to be trying to find someone to do it. I'm based in Melbourne. Help anyone???
