1) Its the same dimensions as the original MF wheel.
2) Visibility/etc is fine. Remember this wheel (with different trim) was later standard equipment in the 991.2/981.2.
3) not sure what you mean about rear cover, I didn't need anything but the wheel, airbag, and conversion box.
4) When I originally bought the wheel for my 981 there was much less info out here about the swap and the conversion was pretty new. Dig around the other threads on Rennlist and you can find people have way more info than I can give you. There is even some new conversion boxes to get the sport mode **** working in the 991.1s too
