I can't seem to find any posts about anyone installing the Tech Art paddle shifters in place of the shifter buttons on the non sport wheel. Looking for options and people who have them and their thoughts.
Thanks
@jnx - I had mine installed about three years ago as I did not want to lose multifunction wheel functionality and I could not be happier with them (I had a 997.2 4S previously and with that one I changed the wheel as it was not multifunction one).
I've been debating this too! I have the MF wheel that has the "buttons" on them which I don't like.
The techart paddles aren't cheap and it's gotten me thinking I should just get a .2 MF steering wheel. I mean it's still ~$800 vs. $2000, but the .2 sport MF is so much nicer. If the Tech Art paddles were say $500 or less, then I'd go that way. TBD though, I need to get clear LED corners first!

It's completely worth it to do the .2 or macan wheel. I couldn't spend that kind of money and have my wheel look as bad as it does with those techart paddles.
I spent $650 on a wheel, $450 on an airbag and then $300 (I think?) on the adapter. Soooooo worth it, I love the wheel and having real padles.
Unfortunately for me, my interior is agate grey, so chances of me finding anything used is pretty low. But even at new, I'm looking probably at 2k which is more than double the cost of the TechArt soluiton. One thing I don't like about my current MF wheel is it feels "thin."

Another option is to get the RR Racing Paddle Shifters. I have a set in my garage that I plan to install soon (been too busy driving to fit them!) - I'll try and take some pics or video when I do. They are much cheaper than the TechArt and the install seems pretty easy, although I'll tell you what I learn when I actually get to doing it.
I would have liked to have changed out the wheel too, but I have espresso interior, so used wheels and airbags are near impossible to come by, so I was looking at over $2k to add the Sport Design and paddles. Plus - I really like the multifunction wheel.

I've decided to replace it with the Sport Steering wheel when I can find one in nice condition. If anybody is selling or knows of one, please let me know. Thanks
