Default Extended Warranty Recommendations?

The CPO on my 2013 C4S expires in September. Looking for recommendations for a good extended warranty policy? I don't want anything too fancy or expensive... The car has 65K miles on the clock, and I'd estimate its current value of to be ~$65K...
Thanks!

Call the Service Advisor at the dealership/shop you plan to work with. Who does he/she recommend?

Fidelity Platinum.

Unfortunately when it comes to warranties, there are a few reputable companies out there and they cost a decent amount. But they're worth it. You don't want to buy a warranty that isn't going to cover you. So spending a bit more and getting a quality product is worth it.

It's funny, I just spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to contact Fidelity warranties to get a quote... says nowhere on their website and when you call in to the various numbers you get a bunch of menus that get you no where. Great start to their service

This is exactly what I discovered. It was really weird... absolutely NO information on the website about how you actually purchase a warranty. You must have to go through a dealer or an independent insurance agent... but they should state this explicitly on their website.

Thanks. Where is this guy located? It seems a bit unsettling to have your main point of contact outside of the state where you live.

Ouch!! I just got an online quote for $10K for 3yr/36K mile platinum warranty coverage ($100 deductible). I guess the $65K miles on an 8 yr old car makes it tough to get a reasonable rate. I guess I'll just hope for the best and maybe look into just powertrain coverage ($3K).

You sure? The minimum discount you should get is 45% off the retail price. Check here too. You need to do your research. FD-Warranty

Powertrain coverage may not help you if you have a PDK because of the way PDK's most commonly fail which is an electronic sensor. I don't know any Rennlist members that have bought anything but Platinum coverage.

Thanks much. I still haven't pursued options as carefully and aggressively as I need to.
